Slipknot Reveals Special Surprise For Knotfest

Unable to keep the cat in the bag just a few days longer, American hard rock 27-piece band Slipknot has, through a source, revealed a secret they’ve been holding onto regarding Friday Night’s performance in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The big secret? Their first encore willbe the cover of “Hangin’ Tough” by 80′s pop icons New Kids On The Block, a song the band has been working hard to master for the last year. A source close to the band revealed this to Extreme Guitar Magazine unaware that the band had wished to keep it under wraps until the show. To some, having Slipknot reimagine an NKOTB fan isn’t much of a stretch, but it will be interesting to see what the band’s loyal fanbase thinks.
