Rotting Christ To Miss This Year’s Gathering Of The Juggalos Festival
In what will no doubt be the biggest disappointment in the music world for 2012, Greek black metal band Rotting Christ will not be playing this year’s Gathering Of The Juggalos festival. The music fest, which is held annually is one of the biggest of its kind on American soil and will feature acts ranging from hosts I.C.P. to groups like Fear Factory, George Clinton, P.O.D., the Fat Boys, Kottonmouth Kings, and rumor has it, Pengea. However, the shocking absence of Rotting Christ will leave many concert goers feeling extreme dismay. Not sure of the reasoning, some expect it may have been an issue with missing a connecting flight and being stuck in Atlanta’s city-sized airport. Others have speculated that the Greek quartet may have been asked to not play after beating members of ICP and Twiztid in a four-on-four basketball game. This would actually be the second time, according to reports that this has happened, as Rotting Christ are quite talented basketball players. No matter what the reason, just be sure that if you are expecting to see the band at this weekend’s Gathering Of The Juggalos (or GOTJ, if you’re Nasty) festival, you are wasting your time. It’s not too late to give it up and drive back home…
