The Top 5 Slayer Albums… According To Me…

July 20, 2012

Yeah, I know, in the world of metal, Slayer is sacrosanct. In fact, Slayer could record an album of nothing but Kerry King making harsh noises with a vacuum cleaner, a blender, and a saxophone and people would blindly yell “SSSSLLLAAAYYYEEERRRR!!!!!” and eat it up. Unlike you, I do not worship Slayer. Never have really. I like their first 3 albums and the “Haunting The Chapel” EP, but none of them to the point of carving a bunch of nonsense into my arms. After those few, there are a couple more Slayer albums that don’t annoy me completely. Then, there are a few that to me are just boring as all hell. So, there ya have it. My opinion, not to be confused with yours, lol. Here are the five best Slayer records in order in my opinion, counting down, of course…

I’d have to stay 5. Show no Mercy 4. Divine Intervention 3. World Painted Blood 2. South of Heaven and then 1. Seasons of the Abyss.

  7. If you think ‘Show No Mercy’ is better than ‘Reign in Blood’, you could actually be insane. That is all.
