Ranking The Manowar Albums From Worst To Best

June 5, 2012

Manowar are the self proclaimed ‘kings of metal’, and hey, who is gonna argue with them? They’ve churned out a great career writing everything from epic masterpieces, sing-along anthems, unintentional cheeseball hilarity, and ballads of triumph. They’ve long been one of my favorite bands in the world. In fact, they are the only band whose logo I have tattooed on me. They are also quite polarizing. People love ‘em or hate ‘em. Here is my countdown of the Manowar albums from worst (#10) to best (#1). Enjoy! And feel free to share your opinions…

Awesome Although I’d put Hail to England as #1. Black Arrows of Death!!!

  2. George permalink

I would have put Warriors of the world at 7 and dropped battle hymns and fighting the world to 5 and 6. I’ve been listening to these guys since 1984/1985

  3. Great post! I wouldn’t argue with any of your Top 4 being number one… it’d be Sign of the Hammer for me though. I’d bump Triumph of Steel up the list a bit too… Fighting and Warriors I’d slide down a little. Huge Manowarrior since.. 89(ish)! Not as old school as George! Where would you fit Lord of Steel in now that’s out?

    • It takes time to see where albums eventually rank. Sometimes albums sound awesome at first but don’t hold up, some seem OK at first but great as time goes on. Time will tell, \m/
